Twelfth Leg of Trip
We had a lovely day hiking in Zion National Park.  I am amazed, not only by the wonder.. yes the wonder, I cannot over state the wonder, but by all the foreigners.  I have come across Dutch, German(when I met the German couple, I froze and could only remember Wilkomen, of the German I have learned.  Oh well, he was appreciative and we smiled and nodded and went our merry ways), French, Belgian, and no telling what else that I just did not recognize.  My amazement is not that they are here, because why not, it is glorious, but how do they know about this place.  I guess, my amazement is about myself, how did I not know about this place!

We have come across so many people with connections to home, such as a waitress from Hiram, Georgia; a brother who lives about two miles from us; a family who just went to Cade's Cove (okay, that’s a stretch) but you see what I mean.  We all have stories, and we all want to feel that connection, I think.  Of course, with my having family all over, I get to have connections too!  Someone actually knew where Altoona, PA was, but they still did not know about Houtsdale or Ginter,PA, sigh!

The picture above is called the Patriarchs, for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob

This area was called the Emerald Pool because the moss on the rocks made everything green.  During the Spring when the ice and snow are melting, the waterfall is fast and furious and provides lots of water for the area.  Keeps everything lush and green.

Roger went on another hike called the Weeping Rock.

Back at our place, we witness a beautiful sunset.
