Seventh Leg of the Trip

We are off to Dodge City.  Imagine that being drawled out with much emphasis and spiel like an emcee! Traveling through the farmlands of Oklahoma and Kansas makes you so grateful for the farmers.  Their farms were huge.  And there would not be another house for miles.  I so admire farmers.  We shot many pics along the way because we thought it quite beautiful.  There were also quite a few windmill farms.

First we paid homage to Roger's heritage and visited the Cherokee Trading post.  I, myself, was unaware that the Cherokee had tribes this far west.  We also had a wonderful lunch at the restaurant connected to the trading post.

The town of Woodward was a very lovely town.

We realized that these smaller windmills were pumping water.

He dared to take my picture, erg!

When we arrived at Dodge City, Kansas, Roger decided to go to the museum.  I was a bit too tired and decided to take the time to catch up on my rest!
Below you will see a rifle used by the Indians.

When he came back, and after a quick dinner, he and I went to a show at Kitty's!  We got to see her girls do the Can-Can.  We were assured thee was nothing illegal.  The Marshall was there to be sure everything was on the up and up!  We had our cameras in hand and around our necks to complete our tourist attire. :)

Outside we had to stop and get a picture of the train!

Good Bye Boothill!  Now it is time to...Get the H#!?LL out of Dodge!  Need to keep it clean!  But it had to be said!
