Made it to Bryce Canyon. The most appropriate word seems…WOW! We walked up the Sunrise Point trail and it opened up to incredible. I know incredible is not a noun, but here it seems to fit. Everywhere one looks is beauty. I know I seem to keep saying that, but it is absolutely true.
As I was walking back to the car I did experience a bit of a giggle. As I crossed the horse trail, and stepped over some horse remains, I passed by a holder for doggie bags, pooper scoopers for doggies. I thought it a bit ironic. And then to add to the humor, at the beginning of the trail it states, no pets allowed on the trail. Hmmm!
Roger and I completed Bryce Canyon in a state of awe. There are no other words for it. Each viewpoint after the next gives evidence of our Lord’s artistry. No words or pictures can totally encompass this beauty.
Thinking there was a north end and a south end to the park, we thought we would just drive on to our next location which was just a few miles from where the south end of the park is…. as the crow flies, apparently. There is no south end of the park. This just added another 2 hours to our anticipated driving day. Oh well. It is a good thing it is a gorgeous drive, which the last half hour of it was through Zion National Park. Oh the hardships!
We think they put the masks on the horses to keep the flies away. What would all the masked heroes think of this?
What a blessing our lives are that even our mistakes give us such joy and beauty to take in as this. God is good! We shall enjoy Zion National Park tomorrow! Blessings to all! Good night.
